Welcome to Susanne's Homepage!

  Hi! My name is Susanne, but I liked to be called Susie. I'm 14 and I live somewhere in Texas (good luck finding me ;D). My favorite colors are royal blue and deep purple (also a cool band). My favorite animals are all feline, but my favorite of them all would have to be the puma or the snow leopard.

My Pets

  I have three black cats and I love them all. I also have a border collie, blue healer (a bread from Austalia), mix named Katie. I have owned many Beta fish, they all had names that reflected on their colors (like midnight and rainbow).

My Art

  When I sit down to draw, I usually draw manga, which is a type of Japanese cartoons. They usually have large eyes and detailed hair. I try to avoid drawing my characters with hands because they are still quite hard for me to draw (I don't cut them off I just hide them). I have drawn a couple of dragons and to many cat pictures to count. My friend just recently showed me how to draw Sonic the Hedgehog characters and I have experimenting with them now and again. I'd be happy to help you or get you started with drawing manga or Sonic characters.

My Writing

  I love to write short stories and poems. I mostly write fantasy, but when I write poetry it can be about anything. I just recently wrote a sonnet and I struggled with it to the last line. I decided it didn't leave enough room for me to say what I wanted to, and describe everything as I saw fit. I usually write in couplets and describe my subject until my hand hurts

  The short stories I am most proud of are, "Ventus", "Fight of the Storm Dragons", "Sunset In The Backyard", and "The Amazon Green Bat". Right now I am concentrating all my writing ability on my book "Secret of Sonterra". Before I continue though, I believe there are two kinds of writers block, one when you can't think of anything to write, and two when you just aren't motivated enough to write. I suffer from the latter of the two, so when ever I feel like writing I jump on the computer and write about a chapter.
