I saw that you have a few movie editors and I have a question for them. I didnt know where to post my question, and this seemed as good of a place as any.
It's late and my computer helpers are not here to assist me . . .
I need a recommendation for a movie that is worth $ 18 in tickets that is Not scary that I can go to with an elementary age chid.
An added caveat is that it can't be a "tissues-required" movie. I can't see something that will make me cry for an hour or so.
(If I can't find a movie that will work, then I guess we are off to shop at the mall.)
Thank you!
Hey AaW Mom!
So I heard you’re looking for some good movies for kids! Sadly, the post-summer-movie-less blues has commenced! There are very few good things out! Let alone things that are good for kids! However, I recommend “Dolphin Tale” and “Lion King”! “Dolphin Tale” may be a bit heart-wrenching (see commonsensemedia for more details), but it depends on the person J
If you don’t want to see either of those, popcorn in little popcorn bags that can be purchased at your local dollar store, some handmade ticket stubs, and a little imagination can instantly turn your television into a movie theater paradise!
Also, for DVDs, I highly recommend “How to Train Your Dragon” and delving deep into the realm of early Disney cartoons! “Alice in Wonderland”, “Treasure Planet”, “Atlantis”, and other such wonderful forgotten Disneys!
Hope That Helps!
