Words Unsaid

A cry escapes my haunted mind.

Oh why.

Why is peace so hard to find?

When your life is plagued

with words unsaid.

Apologies, forgiveness.

Never given to those

who needed it most.

I never spoke my thoughts

look where I am now.

A thousand miles away

From the people I loved most.

But the worst

Is the things left to say.

So don't wait!

don't hold off until its simpy

too late

You never know

when the end is

Gone - A Poem

My sister's friend purchased two Lovebirds and 4 eggs a few months ago.

All the eggs hatched into healthy birds. They kept two, sold one, and gave the other to us. Our bird is happy and healthy, and we gave him the name Houdini.

However, this poem isn't about Houdini. It is about the smallest bird, who still hasn't been given a name. He got out of his cage, and drowned in a toilet. It is a common death for Lovebirds - that are a kind of parrot, so they are very smart.

The bird died around two days ago, the time undecided.

To make my sister's devastated friend feel a little better, I wrote her a poem. It tells the story of a little three month old Lovebird whose - as I see it - cleverness killed him. She told me it made her day, and thanked me a million times. However, a poem can only ease so much pain.

Crosswalk - A story of Bravery

Okay, I was walking with a good friend of mine to Menchis, across the street where I live. I live on a divided highway, so this made her rather nervous. Going to the yogurt store, she was fine - because my mom drove us on the way to her Zumba class. Walking home, however, was anothert story.....

Written with my friend. Took about 20 minutes, or so. Written while listening to Ice Planet, War Of Angels, Love And Loss, and The Battle Vs. Dark And Light, all by Two Steps From Hell. Enjoy our sugar buzz induced story.....

I breathed in and out slowly, watching the cars pass by. It was just a cross walk, right? With its perfectly painted white lines, it was like a hazard to me…Watch out, a cross walk!

My friend was already starting to walk. She turned around, noticing I wasn’t next to her. “Hey, you coming?” she called, making an invitation for me with a swing of her arm.

Mirror Mirror on the Wall, on your sixteenth birthday you will be pricked by a spinning wheel, Apples are healthy for you, Always get glass slippers one size up so you grow into them... My, this is a long title!

Guess the character I drew, win a thousand cookies!

Well... honestly there aren't any cookies involved, however, I'm back! Back with a vengance! To solemnly swear to upload things with diligence and dedication (forgot my password a number of times).

Hope everything's fine and dandy folks!

Herro Everyone!
So, I haven't been on in forever (I should be ashamed, somebody slap me). I keep forgetting my dern password!!
Anways, one of my recent doodles (edited of course for effects on the computer). I hope you like it! I haven't been able to do very many photo manipulations or graphics on the computer because I've been really busy, but I've been able to do a few quick doodles.

The Way You Hurt Me

Okay..I was in a foul mood when I wrote this . It was late, I was tired, I had been doing math and getting yelled at all day...I wanted to wirte, and this basically wrote itself. I sorta somehow pictured a yellow Lab puppy, very slowly growing up. Mentally, anyway. And...I already sent it to someone, who told me it was unoriginal and that it was basically word for word from some chain e mail, or whatever....I don't know. But, I worked hard on this, so before you call it unoriginal, please keep in mind I had no idea something like this was already done before. Figures, though....Yeah. Tell me what you think.

Took me about 20-30 minutes, 35 at most. Written while listening to Angel by Sarah McGlachlin, Nobody's Home by Avril lavigne, The Man Who Can't Be Moved by The Script and Everybody's Fool by Evanescence

How Do You Make A Teddy Bear? -- A Poem

How Do You Make A Teddy Bear?

“How do you make a teddy bear, my sweet and finest dear?
I do not understand it at all for the instructions are so queer.
Do I pack it in with fluff white and soft?
Or do I hold it up above my head and swing it high aloft?”

“Oh sir,” she replied, “You must stuff it with oh so much love,
And mind you, do not push and shove!
Teddy Bears are made just like other bears
But with much more tears and cares,
For when the Grizzly was made the stuffer did forget
To put the last thing in and made it such a threat.
For love is what makes a Teddy Bear
Good, sweet, true, and fair.”

Just thought I'd post some of my lyrics here. Smile
(P.S. I'm actually considering holding a songwriting contest... which is an idea that I came up with as I was typing up this here little message.. I'll keep you updated. Smile )

Do you have cooking passion? (Haikou)

I know of it yes.
The sizzling of its smells.
The taste of its juice.
Its the challenge that brings you
to meet your maker.
How can you compete?
You must have the strength to cook.
The passion it thrives
on your willingness and drive.
Can you feed the strength?
Can you feed the drive alone?
You make think oh yes.
You better turn back now, cause'
if you quit, you loose.
You better win it.
Or it will kill your passion,
your drive, courage, skill.
And if you succeed,
you have the courage of lions.
The end... or is it?
