About Us

Who We Are

Created by three 11-year-old-girls in May 2008, Hey Homeschoolers has blossomed into a diversely staffed, exciting website made up of homeschooled kids ages 5 to 17. We live all over the world but come together to deliver entertaining articles and content to you! We’re committed to making a fun, safe website for homeschooling kids who want their voices to be heard. HH isn’t just for publishing material; it’s for reading, checking out art, music, and videos, and meeting other super cool homeschooled kids!  We also encourage parents and family to view our website and get involved. Q. Is the work you publish on your website really all by kids?
A. Yep! Absolutely. 

Q. Are all of your staff homeschooled?
A. Most of our staff are currently homeschooled. We have a few special members who are no longer homeschooled, but considered "homeschoolers at heart". Smile

Q. Do you read all the articles you receive to be considered for publication?
A. Yes, we definitely do, both from anonymus contributers and from our staff. We want to make sure that everything submitted is something that our readers will enjoy, and that we're proud of.

Q. When and where was HH created?
A. The idea for HH was developed in a small restaurant in Georgia. It quickly grew by word of mouth, email, facebook, twitter, and more, with the help of our wonderful readers.
